To the Batavia School Board and Administration:

We object to your decision to make the new west side neighborhood school a different method of instruction center. This decision denies those residents within the new schools neighborhood boundaries the same choice that all other residents have:

1. To send their children as a neighborhood to a traditional method of instruction to be taught in five of the schools,

OR

2. To send their children to a different method of instruction to be taught in the new west side school.

We urge you to rectify this inequality in the district and to provide a plan which ensures all current and future residents within the west side school boundaries have the same choice as the rest of the district.
